Six Nations: Ireland unchanged for Wales clash

Postby PaulWirral » Tue Mar 08, 2011 3:31 pm

Ireland coach Declan Kidney has named an unchanged line-up for Saturday's Six Nations game against Wales in Cardiff.

Eoin Reddan retains his place at scrum-half despite the return of Tomas O'Leary from injury.

Munster flanker David Wallace will win his 70th international cap when he lines out alongside Jamie Heaslip and Sean O'Brien in the back row.

Kidney also names the same seven replacements following the 21-18 victory over Scotland at Murrayfield.

O'Leary has struggled with a back injury picked up in the win against Italy in the Six Nations opener.

Ronan O'Gara remains at out-half after an impressive display against the Scots.

Wales have restored James Hook to fly-half for the Millennium Stadium clash.

Centre Jonathan Davies is fit again after the hamstring injury that kept him out of the win in Italy and returns to partner Jamie Roberts in midfield.

That allows Hook to switch from centre to stand-off, with Stephen Jones dropping to the bench while Leigh Halfpenny replaces Morgan Stoddart on the wing.
